Grace Women's Ministry

The Women’s Ministry of Grace Fellowship

Designed for women of all ages to know that she is uniquely gifted by God. It is our desire for women to find a place to study the Word of God, and equip them to use the gifts that God has given them. The Women’s Ministry offers many special gatherings, designed to help you grow in your relationship with the Lord, others — or both.

More About Grace Women's Ministry

Robin Gleghorn is our new Women’s Fellowship Coordinator. She has been with Grace for about 1 1/2 years. She has previously been involved in women's ministry for a number of years in various capacities, including leadership roles. She has a great passion for helping women of all ages. She will be responsible for organizing and coordinating our women’s fellowship gatherings, including dinners, meet-ups and more.

Please contact Robin at robin.gleghorn@outlook.com if you have any women’s fellowship ideas or anything you think might interest our Grace Women.
This Bible study provides women with the opportunity to study God’s Word during the week. The setting is casual but the teaching is challenging. The round table discussions help women apply the Biblical teaching to their lives and share experiences that encourage others.

Carrie Whiddon leads our Women’s Precept Bible Study on Wednesdays at 10am in the Fellowship Hall.

One Sunday a Month

We are in great need of teachers, helpers & substitutes for our children’s church. Teachers and helpers arrive at 10:15am to begin receiving children and are done by 11:45am. You will only need to serve once a month, unless you also volunteer to be a substitute when needed.

Teachers will receive their lesson prior to their scheduled teaching day, so that they have time to prepare for the lesson (ex: obtaining supplies from the resource room). Everything you need to teach that day will be in the lesson documents.

Helpers are responsible for assisting the teacher, including, setting up the chairs, taking kids to the bathroom, handing out & helping kids with crafts/activities, helping with snack time and clean-up after class. This is a great opportunity for a teen to serve too. We have 2 teens currently serving as helpers each month.

No experience is required. Background checks are required. If you feel like you can help out in anyway or have any questions, please contact Lynn Tannehill tannehilllynn@gmail.com or 254-541-5832.
God’s Word, the Bible, tells us that we are to “Bear one another’s burdens…”. One way we do this is by lifting up each other in prayer. The Prayer Team at Grace Fellowship is our “first responders” when a need arises.

If you have a prayer request, please click here to fill out a prayer request and it will be sent to our prayer team. If you would like the nature of your concern to remain private, please indicate it when you submit your prayer request. Otherwise, we will make a public announcement to our church family to pray for you!

Join Our Prayer Ministry
We always welcome individuals to join our Prayer Ministry. This ministry offers the utmost flexibility by allowing people to pray individually from any location or come together as a group. If you feel God leading you to be a part of this ministry please contact us at info@gracelago.org or speak with Jerry or Debby Smith.
